Middle East Day 2010

The Middle East: Post-Crisis Emergence

20 May 2010

As part of the London Business School's ongoing commitment to the Middle East region, we are delighted to invite you to our eighth annual Middle East Day, which will examine the critical issues of post-crisis emergence. The Middle East region suffered extensive second-order effects from the financial crisis and economic downturn of 2008-09, particularly in its main financial hub of Dubai. At the outset of a new decade, the region's economic fundamentals remain strong, but key themes such as economic diversification, financial market evolution, infrastructure development and investment regulation look set to define the next decade of Middle Eastern growth, alongside the ongoing issues of human capital and demographic pressure. London Business School invites you to join an elite group of leaders from the Middle East business, media, government and academic spheres to engage in informed debate about the opportunities and risks emerging from the new reality, and assess their regional and global impact.
